Manchester City fullback Gael Clichy isn't writing off his former Arsenal teammates in this season's title battle.
While Clichy has revelled in City's outstanding start to the season - four league wins with 15 goals scored - the club he left behind have laboured.
The Gunners lost two of their star players in Cesc Fábregas and Samir Nasri, the latter to City, and were thrashed 8-2 at Manchester United last month.
Clichy said: "I am sure they will be up there at the end of the season. They won at the weekend and it could be the turning point of their season. No one is happy to start the season like that. Fortunately I am not playing for Arsenal any more, and I am just enjoying my time here. Hopefully we can stay focused on our performances."
