Manchester City are keeping tabs on Gil Vicente defender Pericles Santos Pereira.
The 20 year-old is a full international with Cape Verde and been recommended to City by scouts.
The two clubs enjoy an alliance, which was struck last year, and Pereira could be the first Gil Vicente player to move to England since the partnership's formation.
