Man City flop Sinclair open to permanent Aston Villa move

Scott Sinclair says he is open to making his loan move to Aston Villa permanent.

The 26-year old winger joined Villa from Manchester City in January and has enjoyed a regular run of games under Tim Sherwood which has prompted him to ponder a less temporary deal at Villa Park.

Former Chelsea and Swansea City midfielder Sinclair is yet to hold talks with the West Midlands club but has welcomed the idea of staying permanently.

"Definitely, I feel at home at Villa, it's a great club, I'm sure at the end of the season we can sit down and I can sign," he said when quizzed on the potential of joining Villa.

"I just have to wait until the end of the season."
