Manchester City fitness coach Ivan Carminati insists there's no concern within the club over their Premier League form.

Carminati says the "up and down" form of City was always expected at this stage in the season.

He told TMW: "It was the same last year, as it is now. There is an up and down, as they call it here: ourselves, Manchester United, Chelsea surely will be involved, and also there's Arsenal and Tottenham.

"By the end of November, we'll play against them all."

On their Champions League flop, Carminati added: "In the league we have the best improving defence, there are these moments that should teach us many things."
