A feud between Kolo Toure and Emmanuel Adebayor at Manchester City has been simmering for some months.
The Daily Mail says the latest training ground bust-up at City was the result of a bitter rift that stretches back to November.
Relations between the pair have been frosty since Toure, the City vice-captain, gave a public interview six weeks ago in which he criticised players for airing their grievances in public.
Adebayor - out of the City team virtually all season - has said on several occasions he is unsettled at Eastlands and, as such, presumed that Toure's comments were aimed at him.
