Manchester City are regarded as favourites for Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic.
The Daily Mail says City have emerged as favourites to sign Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic after Juventus admitted his £30million price tag was too high.
Chelsea also remain interested in the Montenegro international but City are believed to be in the driving seat after meeting with the player's representatives to thrash out personal terms on Wednesday.
However, City remain wary of imminent Financial Fair Play restrictions, and the purchase of Jovetic could mean they are unable to finance bids for other summer targets Real Madrid defender Pepe and Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo.
