Manchester City management must make a decision over the future of John Guidetti.
The Manchester Evening News says Guidetti has made it plain that he only wants to remain with the Blues if he gets a sniff of a first-team chance, but with Carlos Tevez, Sergio Aguero, Mario Balotelli and Edin Dzeko all ahead of him in the pecking order, that looks difficult.
City would be looking for a big fee for the player after his exploits in Holland, with the bidding starting at £6.3m.
But they would also be happy to give him another season on loan, either in the Premier League or Serie A - that would give them a clearer indication of his ability when playing regularly at a good level.
