Manchester City fans have reacted angrily after the ticket price restructure at the club could mean that some supporters potentially face price hikes of almost £900.
Some season ticket holders in the Colin Bell Stand have been requested to double their outlay to remain in their current seats due to a reconfiguration in the Colin Bell and East Stand second tiers at the Etihad Stadium.
One season ticket holder of 40 years, who did not wish to be named, is certainly not pleased and he has said that the sudden ticket price hike would price him out from his current seat allotment.
"We had seats with the best view - that's why we already pay a lot for them," he told the Manchester Evening News.
"Now they've changed to Premium, the club have turned round and said you can stay if you pay £5, 250 pounds (for me and my two kids). I personally did not receive anything informing me this would happen before I got a pack last Friday."
