Man City face Real Madrid competition for Roma's De Rossi
Real Madrid have joined Manchester City in the battle for AS Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi.
De Rossi is off contract in June and baulking at agreeing new terms with Roma, which want a decision from him before the market shuts this month.
Corriere dello Sport says Roma's latest proposal, which includes a €25 million buyout clause, has been rejected by De Rossi.
City are prepared to bid for him now - and Real are also keen, with De Rossi having been a long-term target for their president Florentino Perez.

He should move to real m.so that he able to see good football play
why go to RM? Would he push Xabi Alonso to the bench or would he be on the bench....with Khediera, Lass, Sahin, and Alintop?
I hope he stays at Roma a good player who would be great in our colours of Real Madrid but stay at Roma good to see a player loyal to his club. I just hope that he does not go to joke club Man City another player they want for the sake of it.
