Manchester City are maintaining contact with Palermo over defender Simon Kjaer's situation.

City have asked Palermo to keep them up-to-speed on Kjaer's availability and are willing to cough up £10 million for the Dane, says Gazzetta dello Sport.

Juventus are also keen on Kjaer, but do not have the spending power to compete with City. Instead, the Bianconeri are willing to offer striker Amauri, a former Palermo star, in part exchange.
