Manchester City are eyeing a cut-price deal for Juventus striker David Trezeguet.

Juve have put Trezeguet on the market for £8 million, but his personal terms are pricing him out of a move away.

However, City boss Mark Hughes is keen and has the spending power to meet Trezeguet's demands. Hughes sees the Frenchman as an ideal strike-partner for Roque Santa Cruz.
