MLS Digital, the digital arm of North America's Major League Soccer (MLS), has entered into a new partnership with digital media agency Seven League,, reports SportsPro. The agency, founded by self-proclaimed digital geek Richard Ayers, who also serves as digital innovation consultant to Manchester City FC, will look at ways in which MLS clubs can improve their digital performance.
"Using our experience of working in the Premier League with Manchester City FC, our broader experience of sports clubs and organisations and our wealth of experience in digital media, we'll be looking at club growth strategy across the league," Ayers wrote in a statement on Seven League's website.
Ayers was in the US on Wednesday to forge the partnership with Chris Schlosser, general manager of MLS Digital. Schlosser took to Twitter to confirm the new agreement ahead of Thursday's MLS SuperDraft 2013.
