Manchester City are hoping for a quick resolution in their chase for Leroy Sane now that Euro2016 has finished.

Reports suggest that Pep Guardiola is eager for the 20-year-old Schalke winger to make a decision on his future so he can either complete a deal or move on to other targets.

Schalke want around £40million for the Germany international and although City are not keen to fork out as much, they want to learn how keen Sane is to make the move to the Etihad Stadium.

If he shows enough interest, Guardiola could take a chance on the talented wide man even after recently signing Nolito from Celta Vigo for £13.8m.

The potential arrival of Sane would certainly see Jesus Navas leave City but a decision needs to be made soon so the new manager can continue to craft his squad for his debut campaign in the Premier League.
