Manchester City are due a tidy windfall from Barcelona courtesy of Denis Suarez.

City are set to receive €800,000 from Barcelona as part of the deal that brought Denis Suarez to the Nou Camp, says Goal.

Having spent two years at City, the midfielder returned to Spain in 2013 on a four-year contract.

Barca paid €3.2m at the time – plus clauses - and one of those has now been activated after Suarez made his 40th appearance for the club in the 2-1 win at Getafe.

City reportedly receive €800,000 for every 10 appearances up to 100.
