Manchester City are due a windfall on Tuesday from Chelsea.
The Daily Mail says Danny Sturridge's senior debut will trigger a £1million payment from Chelsea to Manchester City, the final instalment of a £6.5m transfer fee settled at a tribunal last year.
It would be a pleasant windfall for most clubs, though for City it will be somewhat lost in an ocean of riches. It will cover Sergio Aguero's wages for a month or so.
Chelsea paid £3.5m for Sturridge, followed by £500,000 for every 10 matches up to 40. The 22-year-old is through the 40-game barrier for his club and the final add-on is for a senior England cap.
