Manchester City have dropped their pursuit of Real Madrid defender Pepe.
The Daily Mail says City have abandoned their £15million pursuit of Real Madrid centre-back Pepe after he was persuaded to stay at the Bernabeu by new manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The decision could have a knock-on effect regarding Joleon Lescott and his future at the Etihad.
