Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini angered his players in the aftermath of defeat at Southampton.

The Daily Star says the squad were 'shocked' and 'disgusted' after under-pressure boss Mancini blanked them following their surprise 3-1 defeat at Southampton on Saturday.

Mancini refused to speak to his flops and didn't even go into the dressing room in the wake of the champions' loss that ruined their title hopes.

The fuming Italian left the post-match inquest to his coaching staff.
