Manchester City are battling to keep hold of Robinho.

Spanish reports suggest talks between the two clubs have been ongoing for weeks. It is understood Barca made an enquiry about the 25-year-old in the summer when they were trying to strengthen their options down the left.

However, the Manchester Evening News report that City are fighting Barca's advances and quote a club 'source' as saying there are no meetings scheduled with the La Liga winners.
