Manchester City have cooled reports they have made a bid for Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen. The 19-year-old Denmark international was reportedly a target for City who made a formal approach for his services.
A club spokesman said: "Manchester City strongly refute any suggestion that an offer has been made either to the player or his agent."
