Man City DEMAND Inter hand over Sneijder for Tevez

Manchester City are pushing to setup a swap deal involving Carlos Tevez for Inter Milan star Wesley Sneijder. The People says agent Kia Joorabchian will today jet out to Italy as the teams thrash out terms.

City chief Roberto Mancini is resigned to losing his star striker who has been dazzling during training this week.

But the Etihad outfit are adamant Sneijder must be part of any deal.

That would suit Inter as they have made it clear privately they cannot let their Dutch midfield maestro leave without a big-name replacement setup to arrive at the San Siro.

It was that factor which led to Manchester United dropping their interest in Sneijder, 27, as they do not want to sell any stars.

Rather than lose any bidding war, Red Devils boss Alex Ferguson pulled out of the running.
