Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is demanding top price for want-away defender Jerome Boateng.
The Daily Mail says Mancini's side have also warned Bayern Munich that they will have to raise their £8m offer for Boateng well above the £10.5m it cost to sign the defender from Hamburg last summer.
City want £12-13m, but Boateng claims he has agreed personal terms on a four-year deal at Bayern.
He said: "Now it's up to Manchester."
