Manchester City defender Kolo Toure says brother Yaya will be fit for the Ivory Coast's African Nations Cup campaign.

The midfielder's participation was in doubt after he was admitted to hospital in Abu Dhabi and was receiving treatment for a fever and a cough in a UAE clinic, but his brother has insisted he is on track to be available.

"Yaya had a couple of days off," Toure said. "Apart from that, everything is going very well at the training camp and we are happy to be here."
