Manchester City defender Kolo Toure is backing Ivory Coast teammate Gervinho for success at Arsenal.
Lille striker Gervinho is close to moving to the Gunners.
And Toure said: "Gervinho has plenty of qualities.
"He is young, fast and very technical. I call him the new Samuel Eto'o. He deserves to be declared Player of the Year in Ivory Coast."
