Manchester City defender John Stones only has good things to say about his former club Everton.
The 22-year-old spent three-and-a-half years with the Toffees before joining City in a £50m deal in the summer.
The England international will return to his former place of employment for the first time as a City player on Sunday.
He told Sky Sports: "It was massive time in my career, I really enjoyed my time there, can't say a bad word about it.
"It made me the player I am today, I can only thank everyone there for that."
Stones joined Everton from Barnsley in 2013 and racked up 95 appearances for the Goodson Park outfit.
