Man City defender Onuoha a reported target for West Brom

Manchester City defender Nedum Onuoha could sign for Roy Hodgson's West Bromwich Albion in a £3million deal when the transfer window opens, reports The Mirror. Onuoha is frozen out at City and ¬available for sale and Albion are already close to ¬completing a deal, though the former England U21 international's wages of £40,000 per week could prove a stumbling block.

The defender was speaking to ¬several clubs in the last ¬window, but put a previous move to the Baggies on hold ¬because of late ¬interest from Bolton, Everton and Blackburn Rovers.
