Man City defender Mangala: I'll keep fighting. Who knows what'll happen?

Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala has hailed the team spirit amongst this season's squad.

Mangala believes the squad are creating bonds between them that will last a lifetime if they follow breaking records by winning trophies.

He said: “This record is something special. I don't know when a team will beat it.

“Maybe in 10 or 20 years people will speak about this team which won 15 games in a row and talk about the players who were in this team.

“Our aim now is to try to make it 16 and see what happens, but it is something we can be very proud of."

Mangala is determined to give all to fight for his future at The Etihad.

He said: “I am here playing and don't know what will happen. I am involved and will do my best when the manager asks me to play.

"This is an important time for me. It is difficult to play one game a month which happened to me when I came at the beginning, but now we have so many matches that everyone has to be ready because they will all be involved until the beginning of January."
