Joleon Lescott has confirmed he will be leaving Manchester City at the end of the season.
But the defender is coy over his next destination.
"There's been a lot of speculation, but the circumstances for me to leave weren't right," Lescott said. "So I thought I'd get my head down and then see what happens at the end of the season, but I haven't had contact with anyone.
"I'm not going to say yes or no to where I will be going in the summer or if I will stay in the Premier League.
"I will weigh up the best options for me and my family and see what happens. If it's the right move for me, I'll go abroad.
"It's nice to think I might be wanted in the summer on a free, but it's not an incentive for me to play well, to be in the shop window or anything like that now."
