Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott missed out on a move to West Ham United yesterday.
The Daily Mail says Lescott was due to move to Upton Park, but City's failure to agree terms over a deal for Porto defender Eliaquim Mangala scuppered the transfer.
A deal has been in place for some time but City were adamant that they would not allow the England defender to leave the Etihad without first signing another centre-back.
