Manchester City defender Joleon Lescott says he's a better player for working with manager Roberto Mancini.
The £24million man knows there is not room for too many mistakes when you have such a perfectionist as the Italian in charge.
He was appointed in controversial circumstances at the same time Mark Hughes was sacked but has become a firm favourite with the Etihad faithful.
"The last couple of league games haven't gone so well for me personally, scoring a goal and then giving away that handball.
"But these things happen and the manager has shown a lot of support for me. If he's not happy with what you are doing in games, he'll show it in training, he'll show where you're going wrong." Lescott told The Sun: "Even when we've won 5-1 he's not happy with the goal we conceded. He says it was a gift and that we like to give the other team a present, stuff like that.
