Manchester City defender Vincent Kompany made it an awards double for himself yesterday.
Kompany was named Player of the Year and Players' Player of the Year at City.
He told mcfc.co.uk, "It's an unbelievable sign of recognition and I'm so happy about it, but tonight is about individual awards. It's about recognising the team and without the team none of this would have happened. I'm delighted but I know who I owe it to.
"You expect your fellow players to know the most about it, they see you every day so it was great to get this, but it could have been any of us which is a sign of how strong we've been as a team. I thank my team mates, but the thing that stood out for me was us winning the FA Cup."
