Manchester City defender Ellis Plummer is training with Walsall.
Plummer is looking to secure a loan move away from parent club Manchester City.
The 21-year-old is a former England under-17 international and won City's academy player of the year award in 2013.
“Ellis has done well so far," Saddlers boss Dean Smith told the Express & Star.
“He's been training with us for a week. We are having a good look at him and he is having a good look at us.
“But he has done well so far and has made a good first impression.
“He is a lovely lad, has come in and done things the right way and been professional.
“On top of that he is a good player."
