Dedryck Boyata is expected to get a loan move away from Manchester City in January.
The Manchester Evening News says well down the pecking order even with City's problems in defence, a temporary move to another Premier League/Championship side could be exactly what he needs.
Boyata is only 23 but this is actually his 5th season at the Etihad.
