Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has hopes of playing again this season.

Nasri is targeting a return before the end of the season.

The City midfielder, who has been out for a month already, posted a photo of himself on social media sitting up in bed after surgery on a damaged tendon.

Nasri wrote: “Everything went really well. Hopefully will be back in four to six months."
