Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli is being put through the mill in the "States.

Balotelli is doing work like a Marine in the snow in Vermont under the guidance of knee specialist Dr Knowles.

The striker is working five hours a day - and does not see visitors.

"Here in Killngton there is not much to do," said Knowles. "So he can concentrate on training."
