Manchester City expect Sergio Aguero to be missing for a month after he broke down in victory over Everton. City expect to have their initial diagnosis confirmed today meaning Aguero will miss seven games starting with the crucial Champions League trip to Roma on Wednesday.
Scans are expected to confirm Aguero has suffered a medial ligament strain.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini will, at least, breathe a sigh of relief should Aguero have avoided a more serious cruciate ligament problem.
