Manchester City defender Kolo Toure fears he will be hit with a one-year ban.
Toure was tested after the derby at Old Trafford on February 12 and was informed of the positive result on March 2.
He was immediately pulled out of that night's FA Cup fifth-round tie against Aston Villa and has not played since.
His time out will be taken into consideration when he receives his ban at the tribunal, says The Sun.
Toure, 30, claims he took one of his wife's diet pills, which included something on the banned substance list.
City have kept the former Arsenal ace on full pay - £100,000 a week - but could decide to cancel his contract.
