Manchester City have coughed up a fee for a 11 year-old goalkeeper.

City have paid £15,000 to snap up 11-year-old Blackpool goalkeeper Curtis Anderson.

"It's incredible for them to have paid that much for an 11-year-old," Curtis's dad Terry told the North West Evening Mail.

"It's brilliant for him to be part of their set-up.

"They have got high hopes for him - you wouldn't pay £15,000 for an 11-year-old unless you thought there was something about him."
