Manchester City are continuing their chase for the signature of Wolfsburg star Kevin de Bruyne.
The Daily Mail reports that the reigning Premier League champions may look to make a summer move for the Belgian attacking midfielder, 23, who has enjoyed a stellar campaign in the Bundesliga.
De Bruyne joined Wolfsburg last summer after a failed stint with Chelsea but City officials have reportedly seen enough to warrant a £40million pursuit at the end of the current season.
City's crosstown rivals Manchester United have also been credited with a heavy interest in de Bruyne.
It is also believed that Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are keen on the 29-time Belgium international who rose to prominence with Genk, landing him a £7m shift to Stamford Bridge in January 2012.
