Song enjoyed a successful season on-loan at West Ham from Barcelona last term, but has ambitions beyond the Boleyn Ground.

The Cameroon ace has made it clear he wants to remain in England, but is seeking a bigger stage.

City have been in contact with Song's camp to register their interest this week.
