Man City in contact with Inter Milan defender Materazzi
Inter Milan's veteran defender Marco Materazzi is a target for Manchester City.
Sportsmediaset says City made an approach to Inter this week for the World Cup winner, who hasn't always seen eye-to-eye with new coach Jose Mourinho this season.
Materazzi is aware of City's interest and open to a January move to Eastlands. The stumbling block, however, will be Inter's asking price - £8 million for the 35 year-old.
