Manchester City have received an approach from Newcastle United for Vladimir Weiss.

The Daily Mail says City are considering loaning Slovakia midfielder Weiss to Newcastle.

Bolton Wanderers are also keen on Weiss, but City were unhappy with the lack of action he saw during last season's six-month spell.
