Manchester City are ready to move for Everton defender Joleon Lescott.
The Mirror says City boss Mark Hughes has tabled a £15m bid for Lescott, but with Everton sticking to their £20m valuation, the defender is prepared to make the next move to break the impasse.
He is ready to tell David Moyes he wants to go to Eastlands in an attempt to drag the Everton boss back to the negotiating table.
Everton may respond by demanding Nedum Onuoha in part exchange. City's England Under-21 international can play centre-half or full-back and would help plug the gap left by Lescott.
