Manchester City remain confident of signing Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri.
The Daily Mail says Nasri looks to have played his last game for Arsenal, even though agents' fees were understood to be holding up his move to City.
Though French TV channel Canal Plus reported the deal might be off, both clubs are still ready to do business and Arsene Wenger conceded that he may not play Nasri against Udinese in the Champions League qualifier on Wednesday, with Arsenal holding a 1-0 lead. City are confident of reaching a deal.
If Nasri played he would be ineligible for City this season in Europe, reducing his value.
"I played him today to the surprise of everybody," said Wenger. "He loves the club."
