Manchester City have no concerns over a deal for CSKA Moscow striker Jo.
The club's new executive chairman Garry Cook has spoken to Premier League chairman Sir Dave Richards to clarify new regulations on third-party ownership, introduced to avoid another Carlos Tevez affair.
Jo, who was signed by CSKA from Corinthians, was part-owned by a South American company who had 20 per cent of his rights - and this is what City will buy out.
The move is also a full-time transfer and will have to be if Jo is to be granted a work permit on appeal. He only has one Brazil cap and would not be allowed in under normal criteria.
