Manchester City and Real Madrid are battling for AS Roma star Daniele de Rossi.
Corriere dello Sport says Roma's new owners are keen to discuss a fresh deal with De Rossi amid offers arriving from Real and City.
Real have offered €25 million cash plus Fernando Gago for De Rossi.
City are also in contact and De Rossi's minders know the contract on offer will be far greater than what Roma can produce.
