Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is keen on Ajax striker Luis Suarez.
The Uruguay international has spoken openly about moving to England - but to City rivals Manchester United.
Tuttosport says City and Juventus will battle for Suarez in January. Juve are turning to the Ajax man after being frustrated in talks for Wolfsburg centre-forward Edin Dzeko.
Suarez could arrive at City as a replacement for the unsettled Emmanuel Adebayor.
