Manchester City EDS coach Patrick Vieira has revealed talks with Swansea City boss Garry Monk about management.

Vieira spent last week doing his UEFA Pro Licence.

He spent time talking with Monk on how to manage players and make an impact.

Vieira recalled: "We all have a different experience. We all put it on the table and you take the bit you want and need.

"Talking to Monk was really interesting because an ex-player going into a managerial role then what is his first step? What was the message he sent to the players? What was his first focus on?

"Those are the kind of details which are really important because one day we all want to go through that situation. If we can other people's experience to improve ourselves then it's really good."
