Manchester City youth coach Patrick Vieira is happy for Geoffrey Kondogbia over his move to Inter Milan.

Vieira is a former Inter player.

“Can Kondogbia become the new Vieira? That's a difficult question to answer," he told fcinternews.it.

“I can say that I like him very much as a player and as a person. He's a really good lad, very polite and has his head on his shoulders.

“I am sure he will do very well in Milan with the Inter jersey on his back. Inter is the ideal club for him to grow and especially with Mancini, a Coach I know very well.

“Geoffrey made the right choice and with Euro 2016 on the horizon he can have a great season in Serie A."
