Manchester City coach David Platt was full of praise for Samir Nasri after victory over Tottenham.

Nasri, scorer of the first goal, was singled out for special praise from the coach.

"He will always take the ball at his feet in difficult situations and accept responsibility. Some people move to a club and hit the ground running and others take time but we have been pleased with his contribution and he took his goal well."
