Manchester City have given first team coach Kenny Jackett permission to hold talks with Millwall about replacing Will Donachie as manager.

The Blues would receive compensation for former Swansea boss Jackett, who has been with the club since March this year.

Former Blues player Donachie was sacked by the Lions, who are third bottom of League One, in October.
